CHS (Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome)

“Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome is characterized by chronic cannabis use, cyclic episodes of nausea and vomiting, and frequent hot bathing. Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome occurs by an unknown mechanism.”[1]

These side effects are different from those reported from over doing it with edibles. In fact, many of the effects of CHS can be absent for years (especially if a person abused cannabis as an adolescent) and then rears its ugly head once a person begins to indulge in cannabis again. According to the study quoted above, not only THC, but CBD and CBG may also play a role in CHS.

As always, please consult your doctor prior to starting a cannabis regimenas it may interfere with some mainstream medications.
